The Canadian Epigenetics, Environment and Health Research Consortium Network is organizing the 3rd annual symposium on “Epigenomics in Development and Disease” to be held from 18-21 September 2016 in Estérel, Québec. This symposium is intended to bring together a critical mass of epigenetics researchers, along with key international leaders in the field, to engage in cross-disciplinary dialogue on recent advancements in the field of epigenomics with a focus on the impact of epigenetics in human disease and development.

This symposium will be held at the Estérel Resort in the Laurentian Mountains, just one hour from Montréal. The Estérel Resort is bordered by three navigable lakes, lush Laurentian forest and a Nordic spa, and provides an ideal setting for such a symposium (www.esterel.com). There will be several sessions over the course of the three days including presentations by key international and Canadian speakers including Janine LaSalle (UC Davis), John Lis (Cornell), Jason Locasale (Duke), Tim Reddy (Duke), Yang Shi (Harvard), Li-Huei Tsai (MIT), and many others. A full agenda will be available shortly.

Travel awards are available for research trainees, medical students, and knowledge dissemination experts. Please see http://www.epigenomes.ca/events for more information.
